{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-41.165","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 41.165","heading":"Wage payment by electronic transfer of funds -- Request forms.","body":"(1) Notwithstanding the provisions of KRS 337.010 through 337.070 and 41.160, the\nTreasurer shall pay, by electronic fund transfer, the wages of any state employee\nwho makes a prior written request to the employing state agency to be paid by\nelectronic fund transfer. The Treasurer may refuse to comply with the request of an\nemployee if the financial institution designated by the employee does not have the\ncapability of receiving electronic transfers of funds.\n(2) The Personnel Cabinet shall provide forms on whi ch to request wage payments by\nelectronic transfer of funds. The Personnel Cabinet may, by regulations\npromulgated pursuant to KRS Chapter 13A, require information on the request\nforms for wage payment by electronic transfer of funds that sufficiently iden tifies\nthe employee and the designated financial institution of the employee.\n(3) Any state agencies which employ persons who have exercised the option authorized\nby subsection (1) of this section shall retain the forms described in subsection (2) of\nthis section.","path":["KRS Chapter 41"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=21900","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:00Z","sha256":"8fe1889089d8b92c36cd1c1bdf027c7646c4d5be6ca029c8f01d74c4669cb512","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-41.160","next":"us-ky/krs-41.167"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
