{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-411.215","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 411.215","heading":"Action for failure to remove sexually explicit image from Web site, online","body":"service or application, or mobile application upon request -- Damages --\nStatute of limitations.\n(1) A civil action may be maintained under this section against any pers on who, in\nviolation of KRS 531.120(3), does not remove a sexually explicit image upon the\nrequest of the person depicted in the image.\n(2) A civil action may be maintained under this section whether or not the individual\nwho is alleged to have violated KR S 531.120(3) has been charged or convicted\nunder KRS 531.120. Liability under this section shall include damages of one\nthousand dollars ($1,000) for each sexually explicit image for each day the image\nremains on the Web site after receipt of the request.\n(3) An action under this section shall be brought within two (2) years of the last act of\nconduct in violation of KRS 531.120(3).","path":["KRS Chapter 411"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=47657","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:35Z","sha256":"3c13ab403b7417046c7a71bb20ea298ba89705fb9c3c4a016c2e8fc74543f801","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-411.212","next":"us-ky/krs-411.218"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
