{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-411.620","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 411.620","heading":"Required contents of complaint -- Substantive status of pleadings.","body":"(1) In any action exempted under KRS 411.610(1), the complaint initiating the action\nshall state with particularity:\n(a) The federal or state statute, regulation, or other law that was allegedly\nviolated;\n(b) The facts that allegedly constitute a material viol ation of the statute,\nregulation, or other law; and\n(c) The facts that allegedly demonstrate that the violation proximately caused\nactual injury to the plaintiff.\n(2) In any action exempted under KRS 411.610(2), in addition to the pleading\nrequirements of subsection (1) of this section, the complaint initiating the action\nshall state with particularity facts sufficient to support a reasonable inference that\nthe violation was a knowing and willful violation.\n(3) For the purposes of applying KRS 411.600 to 411.640, the pleading requirements in\nthis section are deemed part of the substantive law of this Commonwealth and not\nmerely in the nature of procedural provisions.","path":["KRS Chapter 411"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=17834","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:36Z","sha256":"945b59430c98d28d33e919836195640731900c26f0db89d338aaa91149c42b46","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-411.610","next":"us-ky/krs-411.630"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
