{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-416.640","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 416.640","heading":"Conflicting claimants to condemned land.","body":"Where there are conflicting claimants to the land sought to be condemned and all such\nparties are before the court, each claimant, for the purposes of the condemnation\nproceeding only, shall be deemed to be an owner, and the procedure for the\ncondemnation of the land shall be as provided in KRS 416.540 to 416.670  except that,\nbefore the condemnor shall be entitled to take possession of the land, it shall be required\nto pay the compensation awarded therein to the Circuit Court clerk to be held for the\nbenefit of, and paid over to such persons as may thereafter be determined to be entitled to\nreceive it.
