{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-42.4585","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 42.4585","heading":"Transfers from local government economic development fund to local","body":"government economic assistance fund -- Schedule of transfers.\n(1) A portion of each quarterly transfer of moneys provided for in KRS 42.4582 shall\nbe transferred from the local government economic development fund into the local\ngovernment economic assistance fund.\n(2) The amount transferred annually from the local government economic development\nfund into the local government economic assistance fund under the provisions of\nsubsection (1) of this section shall be not less than an amount equal to fifteen\npercent (15%) of the severance and processing taxes on coal collected annually.\n(3) The quarterly calculation and transfer of funds pursuant to subsections (1) and (2)\nof this secti on shall be made only after distribution of the quarterly installment of\nthe annual amount from the prior calendar year allowed as an incentive to an\napproved company under KRS 143.024 and 154.27-060.","path":["KRS Chapter 42"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=40059","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:02Z","sha256":"9433ae0128d399c60b39e7815e7c1d66884bbccfe78119d48e702102103151a3","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-42.4582","next":"us-ky/krs-42.4586"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
