{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-42.525","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 42.525","heading":"Authority to promulgate administrative regulations.","body":"(1) The State Investment Commission shall promulgate administrative regulations for\nthe investment and reinvestment of state funds and the acquisition, retention,\nmanagement, and disposition of investments.\n(2) The regulations shall specify:\n(a) The long and short term goals of any investment;\n(b) The specification of moneys to be invested;\n(c) The amount of funds which may be invested per instrument;\n(d) The qualifications of instruments;\n(e) The acceptable maturity of investments;\n(f) The investment procedure with respect to in-state and out-of-state depositories\nprovided that funds available for investment shall be offered first to qualified\nKentucky depositories consistent with the investment guidelines; and\n(g) The distribution method of funds among types of institutions.","path":["KRS Chapter 42"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22054","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:02Z","sha256":"fa2f2bddb173cc287fc57534cd6e0c33495c32207ebea5a2ac4b8f332ab8bcea","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-42.520","next":"us-ky/krs-42.530"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
