{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-42.540","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 42.540","heading":"Annual reports of nonprofit fiduciary holding funds for benefit of state","body":"organization.\nNotwithstanding KRS 41.290, every nonprofit fiduciary holding funds for the benefit of\nany form of state organization, including, but not limited to, Eastern Kentucky University,\nKentucky State University, Morehead State University, Murray State University,\nNorthern Kentucky University, University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, Western\nKentucky University, Kentucky Community and Technical College System, and the State\nFair Board shall make a report according to generally accepted accounting principles of\nall money received and disbursed during each fiscal year, on or before the fifteenth of\nJuly, showing receipts, expenditures, depositories, rates of interest p aid by depositories,\ninvestments, and rates of return in investments to the Office of the Controller. These\nfiduciaries include, but are not limited to, Eastern Kentucky University Foundation;\nKentucky State University Foundation, Inc.; Morehead State Univ ersity Foundation, Inc.;\nMorehead Alumni Foundation, Inc.; Eagle Athletic Foundation, Inc.; Murray State\nUniversity Foundation; Northern Kentucky University Foundation, Inc.; University of\nKentucky Research Foundation; University of Kentucky Athletics Asso ciation; the Fund\nfor the Advancement of Education and Research in the University of Kentucky Medical\nCenter; Health Care Collection Service, Inc.; McDowell Cancer Network, Inc.; University\nof Kentucky -Business Partnership Foundation, Inc.; Kentucky Medica l Services\nFoundation, Inc.; University of Louisville Foundation, Inc.; University of Louisville\nHospital, Inc.; University of Louisville Institute of Industrial Research, Inc.; University of\nLouisville Medical School Fund, Inc.; the College Heights Founda tion; KFEC Research\nand Development Foundation, Inc.; Kentucky Export Resources Authority, Inc.; and all\nsimilar nonprofit fiduciaries for the benefit of any form of state organization and their\nsuccessors.","path":["KRS Chapter 42"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22057","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:02Z","sha256":"3eaf8a1e0eb0ec6ce89beeec3d06658aeefca61c395a72fec7d590f3a1cf12e2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-42.535","next":"us-ky/krs-42.545"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
