{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-42.724","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 42.724","heading":"Commonwealth Office of Technology.","body":"(1) There is hereby created within the Finance and Administration Cabinet an agency\nof state government known as the Commonwealth Office of Technology.\n(2) The Commonwealth Office of Technology shall be headed by an executive director,\nalso known as the chief information officer, appointed by the secretary of the\nFinance and Administration Cabinet and approved by the Governor. Duties and\nfunctions of the executive director shall include serving on the Governor's\nExecutive Cabinet and those established in KRS 42.730.\n(3) The Commonwealth Office of Technology shall consist of the following offices,\neach headed by an executive director and organized into divisions headed by a\ndivision director:\n(a) Office of Infrastructure Services, consisting of the:\n1. Division of Network Services; and\n2. Division of Platform Services;\n(b) Office of Architecture and Governance, consisting of the:\n1. Division of Enterprise Solutions;\n2. Division of Mainframe Services;\n3. Division of Geographic Information Systems; and\n4. Division of Governance and Strategy;\n(c) Office of the Chief Information Security Officer. The office shall ensure the\nefficiency and effectiveness of information technology security functions and\nresponsibilities; and\n(d) Office of Client Support Services, consisting of the:\n1. Division of Field Services; and\n2.
