A notary public who applies to renew a co mmission as a\nnotary public on or after January 1, 2020, shall be subject to and comply with KRS\n423.300 to 423.455. A notary public, in performing notarial acts after January 1,\n2020, shall comply with KRS 423.300 to 423.455.\n(2) An existing commission as a notary public does not constitute authority to act as an\nonline notary public.
