{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-423.435","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 423.435","heading":"Electronic record or paper printout relating to real property deemed to be","body":"lawfully recorded or filed.\n(1) If an electronic record or paper printout of an electronic record relating to real\nproperty located in this state contains an acknowledgm ent performed by electronic\nmeans, notwithstanding any omission or error in the certificate of acknowledgment\nor failure of the record to show an acknowledgment in compliance with applicable\nlaw, upon the record being recorded with the county clerk of the county in which\nthe real property is located or filed with the Secretary of State:\n(a) The electronic record or paper printout of an electronic record shall be deemed\nto be lawfully recorded or filed; and\n(b) All persons, including without limitation any c reditor, encumbrancer,\nmortgagee, subsequent purchaser for valuable consideration, or any other\nsubsequent transferee thereof or of any interest therein, are deemed to have\nnotice of its contents.\n(2) For the purposes of this section, a record is deemed to  comply with all applicable\nrequirements upon the recording by the county clerk of the county in which the real\nproperty is located or the filing of the record with the Secretary of State, as required\nby law.","path":["KRS Chapter 423"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=49516","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:41Z","sha256":"431f18fd26e59041c34cbdecd6730e6ab78372bd4fd6ef3a9cfd0eba6e13f47b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-423.430","next":"us-ky/krs-423.440"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
