{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-424.140","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 424.140","heading":"Contents or form of advertisements.","body":"(1) Any advertisement of a hearing, meeting or examination shall state the time, place\nand purpose of the same.\n(2) Any advertisement of an election shall state the time and purpose of the election,\nand if the election is upon a public question the advertisem ent shall state the\nsubstance of the question.\n(3) Any advertisement for bids or of a sale shall describe what is to be bid for or sold,\nthe time and place of the sale or for the receipt of bids, and any special terms of the\nsale.\n(4) Where any statute p rovides that, within a specified period of time after action by\nany governmental agency, unit or body, members of the public or anyone interested\nin or affected by such action shall or may act, and it is provided by statute that\nnotice of such governmental  action be published, the advertisement shall state the\ntime and place when and where action may be taken.","path":["KRS Chapter 424"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=18250","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:41Z","sha256":"32696d6eddd89c33f748f963426dcb0ead508c98deb73d85b199255e326097b8","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-424.130","next":"us-ky/krs-424.145"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
