If the affiant state that he is a personal representative or successor of a decedent,\nthe clerk shall also require him to file a copy, properly certified, of his appointment as\nsuch by a competent tribunal in the United States ; and, unless the appointment was made\nin Kentucky, the clerk shall also require of him a covenant, with good surety, that he will\ndispose, according to law, of any property which he may receive upon the execution.
