{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-433.865","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 433.865","heading":"Theft of dairy equipment.","body":"(1) A person is guilty of theft of milk cases, cabinets, or other dairy equipment by\nunlawful taking or disposition when he:\n(a) Receives, takes, stores, buys, sells, disposes of, uses, or otherwise possesses\nany milk case, milk cabinet, or other dairy equipme nt without the consent of\nthe owner;\n(b) Refuses to return any milk case, cabinet, or other dairy equipment to the\nowner upon demand; or\n(c) Defaces, erases, obliterates, covers up, or otherwise removes or conceals any\nname, registered trademark, or other business identification of an owner of a\nmilk case, cabinet, or other dairy equipment for the purpose of destroying or\nremoving from the milk case, cabinet, or other dairy equipment evidence of its\nownership.\n(2) Theft of milk cases, cabinets, or other dai ry equipment is punishable by a minimum\nfine of one hundred dollars ($100) and a maximum fine of three hundred dollars\n($300).","path":["KRS Chapter 433"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=18818","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:48Z","sha256":"ed9043acc29f02fdcaac1a8734503c635dc688c34641a2c23bad69fe22dad4dc","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-433.860","next":"us-ky/krs-433.870"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
