{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-434.872","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 434.872","heading":"Disclosure of information from financial information repository --","body":"Penalties.\n(1) No person may obtain or attempt to obtain, or cause to be disclosed or attempt to\ncause to be disclosed to any person, financial information from a financial\ninformation repository by knowingly:\n(a) Making a false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation to an\nofficer, employee, or agent of a financial information repository with the\nintent to deceive the officer, employee, or agent into relying on that stat ement\nor representation for the purpose of releasing financial information;\n(b) Making a false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation to a\ncustomer of a financial information repository with the intent to deceive the\ncustomer into releasing  financial information or authorizing the release of\nsuch information; or\n(c) Providing any document to an officer, employee, or agent of a financial\ninformation repository, knowing that the document is forged, counterfeit, lost,\nor stolen, or that the doc ument was fraudulently obtained, or that the\ndocument contains a false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation,\nif such a document is provided with the intent to deceive the officer,\nemployee, or agent into releasing the financial information.\n(2) Violation of this section is a Class D felony.
