{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-438.317","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 438.317","heading":"Prohibitions against sale of or making available cigarettes packaged in","body":"units of fewer than twenty -- Penalties.\n(1) No person shall sell or cause to be sold at retail cigarettes packaged in units of\nfewer than twenty (20) cigarettes.\n(2) No resident wholesaler, nonresident wholesaler, or subjobber shall make available\nto a retail establishment cigarettes packaged for retail sale in units of less than\ntwenty (20) cigarettes.\n(3) Any person violating subsection (1) of this section shall be subject to a fine of not\nless than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500).\nAny person violating subsection (2) of this section shall be fined not less than one\nthousand dollars ($1,000) nor more than two thousand five hundred dollars\n($2,500).
