The\ndepartment shall consult with the Supreme Court when promulgating these\nadministrative regulations.\n(2) The administrative regulations shall create a system of graduated sanctions with the\nfollowing objectives:\n(a) Responding quickly and consistently to violations of probation, based on the\nnature of the violation and the risk level of the supervised individual;\n(b) Reducing the time and resources expended by the department and the courts to\nrespond to violations; and\n(c) Reducing the commission of new crimes and revocation rates.","path":["KRS Chapter 439"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=39573","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:53Z","sha256":"fefdfa8a176c4148af9c8fdd2fcfd0fd97de4c64af083a855405ffaedf263acc","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-439.550","next":"us-ky/krs-439.552"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
