{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-441.620","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 441.620","heading":"Valid signatures or facsimiles on bonds -- Quorum -- Meetings -- Bylaws --","body":"Regulations.\n(1) If any of the officers of the authority whose signatures or facsimiles thereof appear\non any bonds of the authority or on any other instruments or documen ts pertaining\nto the functions of the authority, shall cease to be such officers before delivery of\nthe bonds, or before the effective date or occasion of such instruments or\ndocuments, the signatures, and facsimiles thereof, shall nevertheless be valid fo r all\npurposes the same as if the officers had remained in office until such delivery or\neffective date or occasion.\n(2) Any six (6) members of the authority shall constitute a quorum.\n(3) The authority shall meet not less than every six (6) months and as often as\nnecessary to comply with the provisions of KRS 441.420 to 441.450 when called as\nprovided in this section. Special meetings of the authority may be called by the\nchairman, and upon written request of two (2) members the chairman shall call a\nspecial meeting of the authority to be held not later than twenty (20) days following\nreceipt of the written request. The chairman shall give notice through the secretary\nby certified mail, return receipt requested, to each member of the authority at least\nten (10) days prior to the time of any meeting, unless all members of the authority\nwaive notice in writing. The offices of the authority shall be at the seat of state\ngovernment.\n(4) The authority may adopt bylaws relating to its organization and internal\nmanagement, and may alter the same at will. Through its bylaws, or by resolution, it\nshall establish stated times and places for regular meetings; and may adjourn the\nsame from time to time. If a quorum be present at any special meeting, and it shall\nappear f rom the minutes that reasonable notice was given to absent members, or\nwaived by them, or the minutes subsequently consented to by them, any business\ntransacted or action taken thereat shall be as fully regular and official as if\ntransacted or taken at a regular meeting or an adjournment thereof.\n(5) The authority may adopt rules and regulations for the conducting of its business and\naffairs, subject to the provisions of KRS Chapter 13A.","path":["KRS Chapter 441"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=39597","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:55Z","sha256":"6e3ed6bc0de1a5f9b6b61d91cf85aee489ec455db301372c80d659afd4b1984e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-441.615","next":"us-ky/krs-441.625"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
