{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-446.100","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 446.100","heading":"Effect of repeal of prior repealer or amendment.","body":"(1) A repealed section without a delayed effective date is revived when the section or\nact that repealed it is repealed by another statute enacted at the same  session of the\nGeneral Assembly.\n(2) A repealed section with a delayed effective date is revived by the enactment of a\nrepealer of the section or act that repealed it at the same or any subsequent session\nof the General Assembly as long as it takes effect prior to the effective date of the\noriginal repealer.\n(3) An amended section without a delayed effec tive date remains unchanged with\nrespect to an amendment which is repealed at the same session of the General\nAssembly which enacted the amendment.\n(4) An amended section with a delayed effective date remains unchanged with respect\nto that amendment if the section or the act making the amendment is repealed at the\nsame or at a subsequent session of the General Assembly as long as the repealing\nact takes effect prior to the effective date of the original amendment.\n(5) No other action of the General Assembly  repealing a repealer or an amendment\nshall have the effect of reviving the original language of the repealer or amendment\nas the case may be.","path":["KRS Chapter 446"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=19399","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:20Z","sha256":"637b63f32f6ce7bc20fb881c1ca8a36d7713c718baa5e2ec20a14fb11839b5e5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-446.090","next":"us-ky/krs-446.110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
