{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-45.239","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 45.239","heading":"Debts owed Court of Justice -- Identification and collection of debts and","body":"liquidated debts -- Annual report.\n(1) The Court of Justice shall initiate, by October 1, 2004, fully implement by October\n1, 2005, and thereafter maintain a system for tracking and identifying debts.\n(2) The Court of Justice shall establish and operate a system for collecting debt.\n(3) In establishing the systems required by this section, the Court of Justice shall\nconsider technology that could assist in the accurate, timely, an d efficient delivery\nof payments of debts.\n(4) The Court of Justice, Justice and Public Safety Cabinet, and the Department of\nRevenue shall collaborate to implement a system, if feasible, to identify and collect\ndebts in existence prior to the implementati on date of the system required by\nsubsection (1) of this section. Confidential information shared among these entities\nto identify and collect debts shall not be divulged to any unauthorized person. Debts\ncollected under this subsection shall be reported a nnually and designated separately\nas part of the report required pursuant to KRS 45.238 beginning on October 1,\n2005, and ending with the report filed on or before October 1, 2009.\n(5) The Court of Justice, Justice and Public Safety Cabinet, and Department of Revenue\nshall collaborate to implement a system, if feasible, to identify and collect\nliquidated debts in existence prior to the implementation date of the system required\nby subsection (1) of this section. Confidential information shared among these\nentities to identify and collect debts shall not be divulged to any unauthorized\nperson.
