{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-45.260","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 45.260","heading":"Collection of fees and other amounts due the state through the budget units.","body":"Fees for licenses, permits or certificates of any kind due any budget unit shall be collected\nby the budget unit at the time such licenses, permits or certificates are issued by it, and all\nother money accruing to the budget units or to the state through the budget units shall\nalso, as far as practicable, be collected at the time the services are rendered or at the time\nof accrual by the budget units rendering the services or assessing the charges or otherwise\ngiving rise to the claims in favor of the stat e. When collections cannot be so made, the\nbudget units concerned shall render bills to the persons liable for the amounts due or\naccruing, and shall collect such bills.
