Each application for a block grant shall be deemed a new application.\n(2) No state administering agency shall receive or expend any block grant or other\nfunds included in a block grant application to a federal administering agency, which\nhas not previously been specifically approved as a block grant by the General\nAssembly in the biennial budget process as having complied with the criteria\nspecified in KRS 45.353, unl ess the application is found to be in compliance with\nthe standards and criteria as prescribed in KRS 45.353, as well as the applicable\nfederal and state laws.\n(3) If a county contains no incorporated area, that county shall be permitted to submit\ntwo (2) applications per year, one (1) as a county and one (1) as a city, for any block\ngrant program or any category of a block grant program that provides funding on a\ncompetitive basis.","path":["KRS Chapter 45"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22242","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:05Z","sha256":"642f90d5aaf098e765e0dfdb635483b410adee9f06b4b5cc83a406a2a1a4e0fe","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-45.351","next":"us-ky/krs-45.352"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
