{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-45.357","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 45.357","heading":"Block grant program status report.","body":"(1) The Commission or its designated review body shall review the actual use and\ndistribution of all block grant funds made available during the preceding year to any\nstate administering agency.\n(2) Any state administering agency receiving block grant funds sh all, within thirty (30)\ndays following December 31, 1982, June 30, 1983, and each six (6) months\nthereafter, submit to the Commission a report for each block grant received to be\nknown as the \"Block Grant Program Status Report.\"\n(3) The Block Grant Program  Status Report shall show for the programs and services\nprovided under each block grant for the preceding six (6) months the following:\n(a) Appropriations, allotments, expenditures, encumbrances, and available\nbalance.\n(b) The level of service budgeted, defined in terms of objectives and beneficiaries.\n(c) The level of services delivered during the period.\n(d) Alternatives for improved service delivery.\n(e) Any changes in service authorized or necessary as a result of unanticipated\nchanges in clientele, resources, or for other reasons.\n(f) An evaluation of results, including a description of measurements used.\n(4) Staff assigned by the Commission to review block grant applications and other\nblock grant reports and documents submitted by state administering a gencies shall\nbe authorized to independently investigate and audit for the Commission all matters\npertaining to the application for and expenditure of federal block grant and other\nfunds included in any block grant program administered by any state adminis tering\nagency.\n(5) The Commission or its designated review body shall be authorized to subpoena any\nreports, or records or documents from any state agency regarding any block grant\nprogram administered by a state agency for the purposes of investigating or auditing\nsuch program.","path":["KRS Chapter 45"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22249","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:05Z","sha256":"80c4b429de06775d1d4a89bb5fbf636378642d8e5ec670079f7dd049b2a2bf3c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-45.356","next":"us-ky/krs-45.358"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
