{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-45.358","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 45.358","heading":"Legislative oversight fund.","body":"(1) There is hereby created a block grant legislative oversight fund which may be\nexpended by the Commission for the purpose of implementing and administering\nthe provisions of KRS 45.351 to 45.359 and 273.453.\n(2) Each state administering agency shall, to the  extent permitted by federal law,\nwithhold and place in the block grant legislative oversight fund one -fourth of one\npercent (0.25%) of the federal funds made available under the block grant. The\nfunds placed in the block grant legislative oversight fund s hall not lapse to the\ngeneral fund.\n(3) The Commission shall determine the actual cost to the Commission of\nimplementing and administering the provisions of KRS 45.351 to 45.359 and\n273.453 for each block grant under review. The Commission shall notify eac h state\nadministering agency in writing of the actual cost determined.\n(4) The Commission shall, for the purpose of implementing and administering the\nprovisions of KRS 45.351 to 45.359 and 273.453 for each block grant under review\nand as permitted by fede ral law, expend no more than one -fourth of one percent\n(0.25%) of the federal funds made available under each block grant.\n(5) The Commission shall return to the applicable state administering agency any\nunexpended federal moneys placed in the block grant legislative oversight fund\nunder this section quarterly.","path":["KRS Chapter 45"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22250","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:05Z","sha256":"3bab96dd447cbdb9c35c8d0594b6e8c827d448485d3dce25a0e4a3ce4de8773a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-45.357","next":"us-ky/krs-45.359"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
