{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-45.812","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 45.812","heading":"Listing of costs relating to issuance of general obligation bonds, revenue","body":"bonds, or notes authorized by appropriation of General Assembly or by or on\nbehalf of any Kentucky school district.\n(1) (a) Prior to the issuance of the general obligatio n bonds, revenue bonds, or notes\nauthorized by an appropriation of the General Assembly, or by or on behalf of\nany Kentucky school district, the agency, corporation, or school district\nauthorized to issue the bonds or notes shall furnish to the Capital Pro jects and\nBond Oversight Committee and the Interim Joint Committee on\nAppropriations and Revenue, and make available to the public, a listing of all\ncosts associated, either directly or indirectly, with the issuance of the general\nobligation bonds, revenue bonds, or notes.\n(b) The costs shall be itemized as to amount and name of payee, and shall include\nfees or commissions paid to, or anticipated to be paid to, issuers, underwriters,\nplacement agents and advisors, financial advisors, remarketing agents, cre dit\nenhancers, trustees, accountants, and the counsel of all these persons, bond\ncounsel, and special tax counsel, and shall include the economic benefits\nreceived or anticipated to be received by any other persons from any source in\nreturn for services performed relating to the issuance of the bonds or notes.\n(c) Changes in amounts or names of payees or recipients, or additions of amounts\nor names of payees or recipients, to the listing furnished and made available\npursuant to this subsection, shall be fur nished to the Capital Projects and\nBond Oversight Committee and the Interim Joint Committee on\nAppropriations and Revenue and made available to the public within three (3)\ndays following the change.\n(2) The costs required to be furnished under the provisio ns of subsection (1) of this\nsection shall not include the payment of wages or expenses to full -time, permanent\nemployees of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.","path":["KRS Chapter 45"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56007","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:06Z","sha256":"f5d4ce93d89bae3afa2b1c90a73867e9fc070b73ba1ffc3cb371342250b24991","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-45.810","next":"us-ky/krs-45.814"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
