{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-452.030","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 452.030","heading":"Application for change of venue -- Hearing -- Witnesses -- Decision.","body":"(1) Application for a change of venue under KRS 452.010(2) shall be made by verified\nmotion of the party seeking a change to the court, in which the reasons and grounds\nfor the change shall be stated. On any motion for change of venue made under this\nsubsection the court shall have a hearing for the presentation of evidence and\narguments for and against the motion. Either party may subpoena witnesses for the\nhearing on the motion . The granting of a change of venue under this subsection\nshall be within the sound discretion of the court, and shall be granted by the court\nwhen justice so requires.\n(2) Application for a change of venue under KRS 452.010(3) shall be made by petition\nof the party seeking a change to the court.
