{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-453.200","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 453.200","heading":"Recovery of costs by insolvent party -- Endorsement of costs to protect","body":"claims of officers and witnesses.\nWhenever a party who recovers a judgment for the costs of the action or of a continuance,\nis insolvent or in doubtful circumstances, the court, o n motion of any person interested,\nshall endorse the costs so recovered, or as much thereof as necessary, for the benefit of\nthe officers and witnesses who have rendered services in the action, in so far as they are\nembraced in the judgment then rendered, and they shall be entitled to so much of the costs\nas will satisfy their fees. The endorsement shall secure the officers and witnesses a\npreference to all transfers, set -offs and attorney's liens.
