{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-456.110","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 456.110","heading":"Entry of forms, affidavits, and orders of protection into Law Information","body":"Network of Kentucky.\n(1) All forms, affidavits, and orders of protection issued or filed pursuant to this chapter\nwhich require entry into the Law Information Network of Kentucky shall be entered\non forms prescribed by the Administrative Office of the Courts after consultation\nwith the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet. If the provisions of an interpersonal\nprotective order are contained in an order which is narrative in nature , the\nprescribed form shall be used in addition to the narrative order.\n(2) The circuit clerk, in cooperation with the court, shall cause a copy of each summons\nor order issued pursuant to this chapter, or foreign protective order, fully completed\nand authenticated pursuant to this chapter, to be forwarded, by the most expedient\nmeans reasonably available and within twenty -four (24) hours following its filing\nwith the clerk, to the appropriate agency designated for entry of interpersonal\nprotective order records into the Law Information Network of Kentucky and to the\nagency assigned service. Any order or court record superseding, modifying, or\notherwise affecting the status of an earlier summons or order shall likewise be\nforwarded by the circuit clerk to th e appropriate Law Information Network of\nKentucky entering agency and to the agency assigned service, if service is required.\nThe clerk and the court shall comply with all provisions and guidelines of the Law\nInformation Network of Kentucky for entry of the records.\n(3) Each agency designated for entry of summonses and orders issued pursuant to this\nchapter, or foreign protective orders authenticated pursuant to this chapter, into the\nLaw Information Network of Kentucky shall, consistent with the provisions  and\nguidelines of the Law Information Network of Kentucky, enter the records\nimmediately upon receipt of copies forwarded to the agency in accordance with\nsubsection (2) of this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 456"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=44777","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:59Z","sha256":"a12b037d65031422e7be41ff10148b690a5b94ee423828bc10219b06b34c74cf","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-456.100","next":"us-ky/krs-456.120"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
