{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-45a.215","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 45A.215","heading":"Cost principles regulations required.","body":"The secretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet shall issue regulations setting\nforth cost principles which shall be used:\n(1) As guidelines in the negotiation of:\n(a) Estimated costs or fixed prices when the absence of open market competition\nprecludes the use of competitive sealed bidding;\n(b) Adjustments for state -directed changes or modifications in contract\nperformance; and\n(c) Settlements of contracts which have been terminated.\n(2) To determine the allowability of incurred costs for the purpo se of reimbursing costs\nunder contract provisions which provide for the reimbursement of costs; and\n(3) As appropriate in any other situation where the determination of the estimated or the\nincurred costs of performing contracts may be required.","path":["KRS Chapter 45A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22374","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:06Z","sha256":"d9bed254c7d876a69a8a0b19b0828ed149879fd9a050669fd837ba2c4d81b0d4","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-45a.210","next":"us-ky/krs-45a.225"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
