{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-45a.295","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 45A.295","heading":"Definitions for KRS 45A.295 to 45A.320.","body":"As used in KRS 45A.295 to 45A.320:\n(1) \"State public purchasing unit\" shall mean the Finance and Administration Cabinet\nand any other purchasing agency of this Commonwealth, including the Department\nof Fish and Wildlife Resources;\n(2) \"Local public purchasing unit\" shall mean any county, city, governmental entity\nand other subdivision of the Commonwealth or public agency thereof, public\nauthority, public educational, health, or other institution, any other entity which\nexpends public funds for the acquisition or leasing of supplies, services, an d\nconstruction, and any nonprofit corporation operating a charitable hospital;\n(3) \"Public purchasing unit\" shall mean either a local public purchasing unit or a state\npublic purchasing unit;\n(4) \"Foreign purchasing activity\" shall mean any buying organiza tion not located in\nthis Commonwealth which, if located in this Commonwealth, would qualify as a\npublic purchasing unit.
