{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-45a.305","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 45A.305","heading":"Personnel, information, and technical services -- Schedule of fees.","body":"(1) Any public purchasing unit is authorized, within its discretion, upon written request\nfrom another public purchasing unit or foreign purchasing activity, to provide\npersonnel to the requesting public purchasing unit or foreign purchasing activity.\nPayment to the public purchasing unit providing the personnel, by the public\npurchasing unit or foreign purchasing activity making the request, of direct and\nindirect costs of furnishing the personnel, and the terms relating thereto shall be\nagreed upon by the parties involved.\n(2) The informational, technical, and other services of any public purchasing unit may\nbe made available to any other public purchasing unit or foreign purchasing activity\nprovided that the requirements of the public purchasing unit tenderi ng the services\nshall have precedence over the requesting public purchasing unit or foreign\npurchasing activity.  Additionally, and subject to agreement between the parties, the\nrequesting public purchasing unit or foreign purchasing activity shall pay all  of the\nexpenses of the services so provided.\n(3) This Commonwealth, through the Finance and Administration Cabinet, upon\nrequest may make available to all public purchasing units the following services,\namong others:\n(a) Standard forms;\n(b) Printed manuals;\n(c) Product specifications and standards;\n(d) Quality assurance testing services and methods;\n(e) Qualified products lists;\n(f) Source information;\n(g) Common use commodities listings;\n(h) Supplier prequalification information;\n(i) Supplier performance ratings;\n(j) Debarred and suspended bidders list;\n(k) Forms for invitations for bids, requests for proposals, instructions to bidders,\ngeneral contract provisions, and other contract forms; and\n(l) Contracts or published summaries thereof, including price and time of\ndelivery information.\n(4) The Commonwealth, through the Finance and Administration Cabinet, may provide\nthe following technical services, among others:\n(a) Development of products specifications;\n(b) Development of quality assurance test methods, including receiving,\ninspection, and acceptance procedures;\n(c) Use of state product testing and inspection facilities; and\n(d) Use of state personnel training programs.\n(5) The Finance and Admin istration Cabinet may publish a schedule of fees for the\nservices provided under subsections (3) and (4) of this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 45A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22391","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:07Z","sha256":"9f0949a9c972db20137838943e18654bea0d49b3e039651edcd590dc980199f2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-45a.300","next":"us-ky/krs-45a.310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
