The unreasonable\nfailure of a bidder or offeror to promptly supply information upon request may be\ngrounds for a determination of nonresponsibility of such bidder or offeror.\n(2) A written determination of responsibility of a bidder or offeror shall not be made\nuntil the bidder or offeror provides the local public agency with a sworn statement\nmade under penalty of perjury that he has not knowingly violated any provision of\nthe campaign finance laws of the Commonwealth and that the award of a contract to\nthe bidder or offeror will not violate any provision of the campaign finance laws of\nthe Commonwealth. \"Knowin gly\" means, with respect to conduct or to a\ncircumstance described by a statute defining an offense, that a person is aware or\nshould have been aware that his conduct is of that nature or that the circumstance\nexists.\n(3) Except as otherwise provided by la w, information furnished by a bidder or offeror\npursuant to this section may not be disclosed outside of the local public agency\nwithout prior written consent of the bidder or offeror.","path":["KRS Chapter 45A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22413","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:07Z","sha256":"57cee4ac57ebdd4c3685d62bddda73a44d55cf4bef7d280d1e3ecd061fd5fe0c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-45a.390","next":"us-ky/krs-45a.400"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
