{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-45a.485","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 45A.485","heading":"Certain contracts required to mandate revealing of violations of and","body":"compliance with specified KRS chapters -- Effect of nondisclosure or\nnoncompliance.\n(1) Any state contract awarded under KRS Chapter 45A, 175, 176, 177, or 180 after\nJuly 15, 1994, s hall require the contractor and all subcontractors performing work\nunder the contract to:\n(a) Reveal any final determination of a violation by their respective company\nwithin the previous five (5) year period pursuant to KRS Chapters 136, 139,\n141, 337, 338, 341, and 342 that apply to the contractor or subcontractor; and\n(b) Be in continuous compliance with the provisions of KRS Chapters 136, 139,\n141, 337, 338, 341, and 342 that apply to the contractor or subcontractor for\nthe duration of the contract.\n(2) A contractor's failure to reveal a final determination of a violation by the contractor\nof KRS Chapters 136, 139, 141, 337, 338, 341, and 342 or to comply with these\nstatutes for the duration of the contract shall be grounds for the Commonwealth's:\n(a)  Cancellation of the contract; and\n(b) Disqualification of the contractor from eligibility for future state contracts for\na period of two (2) years.\n(3) A subcontractor's failure to reveal a final determination of a violation by the\nsubcontractor of KRS Chapters 136, 139, 141, 337, 338, 341, and 342 or to comply\nwith these statutes for the duration of the contract shall be grounds for the\nCommonwealth's disqualification of the subcontractor from eligibility for future\nstate contracts for a period of two (2) years.","path":["KRS Chapter 45A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22431","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:07Z","sha256":"b02dbdf3a48e5c3deb36f94347ba7500b53ce2b807c1b59ca8e712360576d885","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-45a.480","next":"us-ky/krs-45a.487"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
