{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-45a.730","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 45A.730","heading":"Definitions for KRS 45A.730 to 45A.750.","body":"As used in KRS 45A.730 to 45A.750, unless the context requires otherwise:\n(1) \"Architectural services\" means any professional service involved in the practice of\narchitecture as defined in KRS 323.010;\n(2) \"Engineering services\" means any professional serv ice as defined in KRS\n322.010(4) and (5);\n(3) \"Firm\" means any individual, firm, partnership, corporation, or other legal entity\npermitted by law to practice the profession of architecture or engineering and\nprovide the services defined in subsections (1) and (2) of this section;\n(4) \"Local public agency\" shall have the same meaning given in KRS 45A.345;\n(5) \"Project\" means any capital improvement project, study, plan, survey, or new or\nexisting program activity of a political subdivision that requires arch itectural or\nprofessional engineering services;\n(6) \"Qualification statement\" means federal form SF254 and any other supporting\ndocuments that present a firm's qualifications and performance data.","path":["KRS Chapter 45A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22475","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:08Z","sha256":"fe34f68eb11ccd7a525ef2798b7eb14a425d6dc0f5e13d430676099d2bbebc9f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-45a.725","next":"us-ky/krs-45a.735"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
