{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-48.180","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 48.180","heading":"Financial information submitted as part of executive branch budget","body":"request.\nIn addition to the information required by KRS 48.110, the Governor shall submit the\nfollowing information as a separate part of the branch budget request for the executive\nbranch of government:\n(1) Summary statements of the financial condition of the state, which shall include such\ndetailed schedules of revenues and summary of expenditures by fund as specified by\nlaw in addition to those the Governor deems desirable; and summary statements of\nthe estimated fund balances for the current fiscal year and each  of the next two (2)\nfiscal years; and statement of the surplus account for the general fund and the road\nfund, for the budget reserve trust fund account, and for each special fund. Each\nsurplus account shall show the excess of all current revenues over al l current\nexpenditures as of the beginning of each of the two (2) fiscal years last concluded,\nand all changes in each surplus account during each of such two (2) fiscal years.\n(2) A statement as of the close of the last completed fiscal year and as of the  close of\nthe current fiscal year, showing for the Commonwealth the total funded debt, the\nvalue of sinking fund assets, the net funded debt, the floating liabilities as of the\nclose of the last completed fiscal year and the estimated floating liabilities as of the\nend of the current fiscal year, and the total debt as of the close of the last completed\nfiscal year and as of the close of the current fiscal year.\n(3) A summary statement for each major fund of the cash resources estimated to be\navailable at the beginning of each of the next two (2) fiscal years, and the estimated\ncash receipts of the fiscal year.\n(4) Such other information as is deemed desirable or is required by law or regulation.","path":["KRS Chapter 48"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22553","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:09Z","sha256":"f7161f6b8369cd7a976f33511fcf4a952ec9cfebfd978ce1c415230d647b3502","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-48.170","next":"us-ky/krs-48.185"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
