{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-48.960","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 48.960","heading":"Conflicting provisions superseded -- Electronic imprint data as additional","body":"data -- Ownership of data.\n(1) KRS 48.950 and 48.955 shall supersede all other provisions in law which may be in\nconflict, including but not limited to KRS Chapters 6, 7, 11, 12 , 15, 18 and 18A,\n27A, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 56, 58, 131, 152, 157, 164, 171, 174, and 177.\n(2) Data and records in electronic or print form which are authorized under KRS 48.950\nand 48.955 shall be in addition to all other data, records and forms wh ich may be\nprovided by law, including but not limited to, KRS 42.005 to 42.990, 45.001 to\n45.991, and 48.010 to 48.800.\n(3) The General Assembly declares that:\n(a) All data collected by or in the custody of any budget unit resulting from the\nexpenditure of  appropriated funds and which is not confidential under law\nshall be deemed to be the property right of the Commonwealth; and\n(b) No property right or privilege of confidentiality may be asserted or maintained\nby such custodial budget unit for the producti on of public records not\nexempted pursuant to KRS Chapter 61 which may be created and required\npursuant to KRS 48.950 and 48.955.","path":["KRS Chapter 48"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22583","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:09Z","sha256":"f862ba0e92a8733ee68093d5c0b2ae158fd3e0df413038cc7a361d58cc0c7053","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-48.955","next":"us-ky/krs-49.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
