{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-508.182","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 508.182","heading":"Hazing in the first degree -- Defenses -- Sentencing.","body":"(1) A person is guilty of hazing in the first degree when he or she intentionally or\nwantonly engages in an act of hazing that results in serious physical injury or death\nto a minor or student.\n(2) It shall be a defense under this section that the act was part  of reasonable and\ncustomary:\n(a) Interscholastic or intercollegiate athletic practices, competitions, or events;\n(b) Law enforcement training; or\n(c) Military training.\n(3) Hazing in the first degree is a Class D felony.
