{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-532.032","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 532.032","heading":"Restitution.","body":"(1) Restitution to a named victim, if there is a named victim, shall be ordered in a\nmanner consistent, insofar as possible, with the provisions of this section and KRS\n439.563, 532.033, 533.020, and 533.030 in addition to any other part of the penalty\nfor any offense under this chapter. The provisions of this section shall not be subject\nto suspension or nonimposition.\n(2) If pretrial diversion is granted, restitution shall be a part of the diversion agreement.\n(3) If probation, shock probation, conditional di scharge, or other alternative sentence is\ngranted, restitution shall be a condition of the sentence.\n(4) If a person is sentenced to incarceration and paroled, restitution shall be made a\ncondition of parole.\n(5) Restitution payments ordered under this section shall be paid by the defendant to the\nclerk or a court -authorized program run by the county attorney or the\nCommonwealth's attorney of the county.","path":["KRS Chapter 532"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=20032","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T21:00:05Z","sha256":"4ce6939e8c9d4d8e990c49ff866c46b360487002d1133f9f4af932d3190e6cf7","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-532.031","next":"us-ky/krs-532.033"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
