{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-532.220","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 532.220","heading":"Conditions of home incarceration.","body":"The conditions of home incarceration shall include the following:\n(1) The home incarceree shall be confined to his home at all times except when:\n(a) Working at approved employment or traveling directly to and from such\nemployment;\n(b) Seeking employment;\n(c) Undergoing available medical, psychiatric, or mental health treatment or\napproved counseling and after care programs;\n(d) Attending an approved educational institution or program;\n(e) Attending a regularly scheduled religious service at a place of worship; and\n(f) Participating in an approved community work service program;\n(2) Violation of subsection (1) of this section may subject the home incarceree to\nprosecution under KRS 520.030 (escape);\n(3) The home incarceree shall conform to a schedule prepared by a designated officer of\nthe supervising authority specifically setting forth the times when he may be absent\nfrom the home and the locations where he may be during those times;\n(4) The home incarceree shall not commit another offense during the period  of time for\nwhich he is subject to the conditions of home incarceration;\n(5) The home incarceree shall not change the place of home incarceration or the\nschedule without prior approval of the supervising authority;\n(6) The home incarceree shall maintain a  telephone or other approved monitoring\ndevice in the home or on his person at all times;\n(7) Any other reasonable conditions set by the court or the supervising authority\nincluding:\n(a) Restitution under KRS 533.030;\n(b) Supervision fees under KRS 439.315; and\n(c) Any of the conditions imposed on persons on probation or conditional\ndischarge under KRS 533.030(2);\n(8) A written and notarized consent agreement shall be filed with the court by every\nadult who will share the offender's home during the term of home incarceration; and\n(9) Any supervision fee or other monetary condition, except restitution, shall be paid by\nthe defendant directly to the person or organization specified by the court in a\nwritten order, except that any such fees or monetary conditions owed to the\nDepartment of Corrections shall be paid through the circuit clerk.","path":["KRS Chapter 532"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=20061","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T21:00:06Z","sha256":"bbfa682638364174d54639fd958e740b04bf2c726397b7f477b0589c7936030b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-532.210","next":"us-ky/krs-532.230"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
