{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-56.8035","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 56.8035","heading":"Conditions under which proposal to lease, lease -purchase, or exercise","body":"options to purchase new construction may be considered.\n(1) When the Department for Facilities Management solicits for procurement of leased\noffice space under the provisions of KRS  56.803, a proposal for new construction\nshall be considered if it does not contain any provision for a lease -purchase or an\noption to purchase.\n(2) The Department for Facilities Management shall only consider a proposal for\nconstruction of leased office s pace with provision for lease -purchase or option to\npurchase if the proposal is submitted in response to a solicitation for proposals for\nbuilt-to-suit leases in accordance with KRS 56.8169.\n(3) A building constructed and leased to the Commonwealth under t his section shall be\nconstructed:\n(a) In accordance with all applicable state and national safety, building, and\nconstruction code requirements; and\n(b) To last for a minimum of thirty (30) years.","path":["KRS Chapter 56"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22699","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:11Z","sha256":"8bdb5ec9b4b8539684d4793095069807003b218ae3d141add19a758fa641f1da","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-56.803","next":"us-ky/krs-56.804"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
