{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-56.809","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 56.809","heading":"Statement of owners of property to be furnished to cabinet -- New statement","body":"required under certain conditions.\n(1) When the owner of real property selected to be leased to the Commonwealth is a\ncorporation, partnership, business trust, or organization,  a disclosure statement\nproviding a list of the names of all persons owning five percent (5%) or more of the\nshares in such entities and the names of all partners, including silent and limited\npartners, shall be furnished to the Finance and Administration Cabinet prior to the\nexecution of the lease agreement.\n(2) Any person, corporation, partnership, business trust, or organization which receives\nincome from the lease of real property to the Commonwealth and then, by way of\nassignment, transfer, or any othe r direct or indirect means, conveys some part of\nthat income to any other person, corporation, partnership, business trust, or\norganization shall file a disclosure statement with the Finance and Administration\nCabinet. The disclosure statement shall identify each recipient of the income and the\namount received by each recipient.\n(3) A new disclosure statement shall be furnished to the Finance and Administration\nCabinet upon:\n(a) Any change or transfer of ownership involving persons, including silent or\nlimited partners, owning five percent (5%) or more of the shares in the\ncorporation, partnership, business trust, or organization; or\n(b) Any change in the distribution of income from the leased property by way of\nassignment, transfer, or any other direct or indirect means.\n(4) The Department for Facilities Management shall maintain each disclosure statement\nobtained pursuant to this section in the appropriate lease file and shall make all\nlease files available for public inspection.","path":["KRS Chapter 56"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=22704","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:11Z","sha256":"cbb194148d650144dd1787624706c53c0846e429b74463e96c3ea6f0ed5b3284","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-56.808","next":"us-ky/krs-56.810"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
