{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-58.190","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 58.190","heading":"Action challenging validity of ordinance or resolution authorizing bond","body":"issue.\n(1) As used in this section, \"lease\" has the same meaning as in KRS 65.940.\n(2) Any action challenging the validity or enforceability of:\n(a) Any ordinance or resolut ion adopted by any governmental agency approving\nthe issuance of bonds, notes, or leases; or\n(b) Any bond, note, or lease approved by an ordinance or resolution;\nshall be brought within thirty (30) days from the date on which notice of the\nadoption of the  ordinance or resolution is published in accordance with KRS\nChapter 424.\n(3) If the action challenging the validity or enforceability of the ordinance, resolution,\nbond, note, or lease is not brought within the time provided by subsection (2) of this\nsection, the action shall be forever barred.","path":["KRS Chapter 58"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48651","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:13Z","sha256":"bd7314a47db1856a05379cf4b4c6311eff0f6438f7d30459c144ad17d6b9cfec","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-58.180","next":"us-ky/krs-58.200"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
