{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-6.247","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 6.247","heading":"Bill request files.","body":"The Legislative Research Commission shall maintain separate bill request files as\nfollows:\n(1) A regular session bill request file in which all requests for legislation to be enacted\nat a regular session are filed in serial order;\n(2) A special session bil l request file which shall be maintained from the time the\nGovernor issues an executive order calling a special session of the General\nAssembly until the end of the special session in which all requests for legislation to\nbe enacted at a special session are filed in serial order;\n(3) Bill requests filed for a particular type of session of the General Assembly shall not\nbe introduced in a session of a type other than that for which they are filed. This\nsection shall not be construed as prohibiting the filing  of multiple requests by the\nsame or other sponsors for one (1) or more types of sessions of the General\nAssembly.\n(4) Each bill request shall indicate on its face the type of session and the year of session\nof the General Assembly for which it is being filed.","path":["KRS Chapter 6"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=292","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:24Z","sha256":"6c4fb7899af136c1568981baa5a76204065bf96aafe0224fdd7c26aacb3207bb","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-6.245","next":"us-ky/krs-6.248"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
