{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-6.656","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 6.656","heading":"Chair and vice chair -- Meetings -- Compensation of members.","body":"(1) The chair and the vice chair of the commission shall be elected by a majority vote of\nthe members of the commission. The chair and the vice chair shall serve terms of\none (1) year and may be reelected. The chair shall preside at meetings of the\ncommission. The vice chair shall preside in the absence or disability of the chair.\n(2) The commission shall meet within ninety (90) days of February 18, 1993. The time\nand place of the meeting shall be determined by the chair. Thereafter, the\ncommission shall meet a t such times deemed necessary at the call of the chair or a\nmajority of its members. A quorum shall consist of five (5) or more members. An\naffirmative vote of five (5) or more members shall be necessary for commission\naction.\n(3) A member of the commissio n shall receive one hundred dollars ($100) per day and\nreimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of his\nofficial duties as a member of the commission for meeting days and for a maximum\nof two (2) nonmeeting days per month devoted to commission-related work.","path":["KRS Chapter 6"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=346","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:25Z","sha256":"8819e9df4a2b400ede0b1e8d9ae356a355a1a18662e5f333959c16d40220eb1e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-6.655","next":"us-ky/krs-6.660"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
