{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-6.793","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 6.793","heading":"Time schedule for filing statements of financial interests.","body":"(1) The statement of financial interests required by KRS 6.781 shall be filed with the\ncommission for the preceding calendar year by no later than February 15 of each\nyear, complete through December 31 of the preceding year, except that:\n(a) A candidate for no mination or election to the General Assembly shall file his\nstatement no later than twenty-one (21) days after the filing deadline as set by\nthe law or within ten (10) days of the filing deadline if it is a special election\ndate he became a candidate as defined in KRS 6.611; and\n(b) An individual appointed to a position listed in KRS 6.781(3) shall file his\ninitial statement no later than twenty -one (21) days after the date of his\nappointment.\n(2) The commission may grant a reasonable extension of time for filing a statement of\nfinancial interests for good cause shown.","path":["KRS Chapter 6"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=391","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:25Z","sha256":"a89fe67bbee1f340a270f52f89b2b0d97efcde1985297512d57291f1691d1042","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-6.791","next":"us-ky/krs-6.794"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
