{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-6.930","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 6.930","heading":"Report of committee findings and recommendations.","body":"(1) The committee may report its findings and recommendations to the head of the\nstate agency or program and the secretary of the cabinet to which the report\npertains.\n(2) The  secretary of the cabinet or the head of the state agency or program to\nwhich the report pertains shall give affirmative consideration to the report within\nsixty (60) days of the adoption of the report by:\n(a) Adopting the committee's recommendations and reporting their actions to\nthe committee; or\n(b) Otherwise correcting the deficiency and reporting their actions, and the\nreasons  for not adopting the committee's recommendations, to the\ncommittee.\n(3) If no corrective action is taken by the secretary of the cabinet or by the head of\nthe state agency  or program in response to a committee report under\nsubsections (1) and (2) of this section, or if the committee deems the corrective\naction taken to be unsuitable, the committee may  report the matter to the\nGeneral Assembly, together with its recommendations.\n(4) The  committee may  report the results of each of its studies, including the\ncommittee's recommendations for any further action, to the General Assembly.\n(5) The committee may report any matter under its study to any law enforcement\nagency, the Auditor of Public Accounts, or any other state official having\njurisdiction over the matter for investigation. If a matter is referred under this\nsubsection, the law enforcement agency, Auditor of Public Accounts, or other\nstate official with jurisdiction over the matter shall make  a report to the\ncommittee  with its findings within thirty (30) days of completion of the\ninvestigation.","path":["KRS Chapter 6"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=50694","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:25Z","sha256":"7e9844d7f0da797171c1b1a5caba3285a5faafcd2d12d883b528dda5c24ff9bc","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-6.925","next":"us-ky/krs-6.935"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
