An information system shall be developed and designed to\nprovide sufficient continuing information on the financial condition of local government\nwhich can be readily utilized for the preparation of fiscal notes. In the development of this\ninformation system, the Legislative Research Commission shall:\n(1) Compile, analyze, and maintain in a unified, concise, and orderly form, information\non the nature and impact of existing state mandates and state programs which\ninvolve the distribution of funds to local government; and\n(2) Continuously compile, analyze, and maint ain fiscal and other relevant information\nwhich is required by statute or regulation to be prepared by local governments.","path":["KRS Chapter 6"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=426","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:26Z","sha256":"9091d7774ad8c0820d8b7d1325093806c475b038ea6de59a47fe06e4e22d1b43","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-6.965","next":"us-ky/krs-6.975"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
