{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-61.580","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 61.580","heading":"Retirement allowance account.","body":"The  retirement allowance account shall be  the account in which shall be\naccumulated all employer contributions and amounts transferred from the members'\naccount, and to which all income from the invested assets of the system shall be\ncredited. From this account shall be paid the expenses of the system and the board\nincurred in administration of the system, retirement allowances, and any other\nbenefits payable after a member's  retirement and from this account shall be\ntransferred to the members' account:\n(1) The employer pay credit added monthly to each member's individual accounts\nas provided by KRS 16.583 and 61.597; and\n(2) The interest credited annually to each member's individual account as provided\nby KRS 61.510 to 61.705.","path":["KRS Chapter 61"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=50828","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:15Z","sha256":"e2c0fb6013d9f0999a4e98460db70e04adf19d3e4fb001ca515daf2376a5cbf9","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-61.575","next":"us-ky/krs-61.585"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
