{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-61.791","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 61.791","heading":"Definitions for KRS 61.791 to 61.799.","body":"As used in KRS 61.791 to 61.799:\n(1) \"Nonprofit organization\" means an organization that:\n(a) Is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c) of the Internal\nRevenue Code;\n(b) Has submitted an application with the Internal Revenue Service for\nrecognition of an exemption under Section 5 01(c) of the Internal Revenue\nCode; or\n(c) Is a nonprofit corporation incorporated under KRS Chapter 273, an\nunincorporated nonprofit association under KRS Chapter 273A, or a domestic\nnonprofit limited liability company under KRS Chapter 275;\n(2) \"Person\" means an individual or entity;\n(3) \"Personal information\" means any list, record, registry, roll, roster, or other\ncompilation of data of any kind that directly or indirectly identifies a person as a\nmember, supporter, volunteer, or donor of financial or n onfinancial support to any\nnonprofit organization; and\n(4) \"Public agency\" has the same meaning as in KRS 61.870(1).","path":["KRS Chapter 61"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54008","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:16Z","sha256":"d463005d3baab8c1d7e8c5190cffe63612f4fc4141216744214ae1aab7b0f8e3","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-61.790","next":"us-ky/krs-61.793"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
