{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-610.071","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 610.071","heading":"Requirement for certain persons to attend hearings -- Penalty.","body":"(1) At any hearing or other proceeding under KRS Chapters 630 to 645, at least one (1)\nperson ordered by the court pursuant to KRS 610.070(4) to attend hearings or\nproceedings involving the child shall be present. The court shall make reasonable\naccommodations to allow the person to attend.\n(2) A person who has been excluded from a hearing pursuant to KRS 610.070(3) and\nhas not subsequently been ordered by the court to be present a t future proceedings\nshall not be charged under this section.\n(3) If a violation of subsection (1) of this section occurs, any parent, guardian, or other\nperson who was ordered pursuant to KRS 610.070(4) to attend hearings or\nproceedings involving the chil d shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars\n($500) or ordered to participate in up to forty (40) hours of community service.","path":["KRS Chapter 610"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=55438","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T21:00:07Z","sha256":"7636563255576279055c11af3a0533b86078d85f2931794605e413009466ace0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-610.070","next":"us-ky/krs-610.072"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
