{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-610.160","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 610.160","heading":"Court-ordered participation in child's treatment.","body":"Upon recommendation of the Department of Juvenile Justice or the cabinet or upon its\nown initiative, the court may order any parent, guardian, or person exercising similar\ncustodial control or supervision of a child referred to the court to cooperate and a ctively\nparticipate in such treatment or social service programs which might reasonably be\nexpected to meet the goal of enhancing the best interests of the child and family unity.\nWhen it appears to the court that the parents have failed to cooperate and a ctively\nparticipate in said programs, the court may issue a summons for the parents of the child\nwhich shall require them to attend a hearing in which they may rebut any evidence which\nmay allege that they have violated a court order.
